An accomplished real estate investor, Brian Fettner has overseen the holding company BT Foods since 1993. In addition, Brian Fettner owns and operates his own restaurant, Maverick’s. Possessing two locations in the Greater Detroit area, Maverick’s is a family restaurant whose specialty is contemporary American food. The owner named the eatery in honor of his pet Jack Russell Terrier that was a rescue dog from a Las Vegas shelter. In addition, his dog’s likeness is featured in the restaurant’s logo. Maverick’s donates a portion of its earnings to local animal rescue organizations. Featuring a full bar and restaurant, Maverick’s offers a range of lunch and dinner options and has something for everyone. With 50 beers on tap, the restaurant has a variety of signature cocktails, such as the Tropical Paloma, Citrus Cosmo, Dragonberry Mojito, and the Cucumber Gimlet. Margaritas and handcrafted mules are also available. Moreover, patrons are welcome to sit on the patio with their dogs, who will receive a bowl of water and a strip of cooked bacon.  A portion of all profits goes to local dog shelters in the area.
